FAQ

How do I register?

To register online, choose a tournament and simply click on the register button and follow the easy steps to register online. Once a team's entry has been processed, the team will be assigned to a bracket. Team captains may log into their account and view their registration summary page.

The registration confirmation serves as the team's official acceptance into Got Skillz 3-on-3, and must be kept for use as identification when picking up the team packet at the Team Check-In table. It is very important that team captains review and verify player and team information on the registration confirmation page. Team captain must provide Player Release & Waiver Forms for each player.

Where can I find the Player Release & Waiver Form?

You can download the Player Release & Waiver Form for each tournament under the Tournament section of the website. Every registered player (or parent/guardian) must sign a Player Release & Waiver in order to play in a tournament. All participants on a team must hand in their waiver forms together at Team Check-In.

When is the deadline to register for a tournament?

Please refer to each tournament deadline in the Tournament section of the website.

I registered online but never got a confirmation message, am I registered?

No. Unless you received a registration confirmation email (to the e-mail address your team captain provided) with your internet purchase receipt, your team is not registered. Please check you Junk Mail folder as incoming Got Skillz 3-on-3 messages may be filtered there by your email system. If you continue to have issues, please contact Got Skillz 3-on-3 at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

How are tournament brackets set-up?

When building division brackets, teams are placed in pools within their division based on the grade of the team members.

Do all team members have to be the same grade?

No. However, your team members must be in the grade range.

Where/when do we get our schedule?

Schedules will be distributed to team captains at the Team Check-In table.

Where/when is team check-in?

Team Check-In starts at 7:30 a.m. the morning of the tournament. Team captains must turn in signed Player Release Waiver Forms for all team members and only then will you receive your team's schedule and player registration bags. Teams will not be given their team's schedules and player registration bags unless waivers for every participant are submitted together.

What time does the tournament start?

Please refer to each tournament schedule for the start time.

How many games are we guaranteed to play?

The tournaments are double elimination. However, Got Skillz 3-on-3 staff reserves the right to reduce this number, or shorten games, in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Can we have a coach?

Your team can play with or without a coach. Please note that only the Team Captain can speak on behalf of the team.

What do we get if we win?

First place winners from each division will be awarded a first place trophy (one per team members) and bragging rights.

Can I play on more than one team?

No.

Are there court officials for every game?

Yes. There will be Court Monitors present to help assist with the flow of the game and help make calls.

Can we change our team name?

No. You can not make changes to your team name after you have registered.

What is the refund policy?

Once registered, refunds are not offered.

Does Got Skillz 3-on-3 have specific rules?
